FREE RANGE 2019 x Metro Imaging

This month see the return of the highly anticipated FREE RANGE – showcasing throughout a three-week long exhibition a vast and diverse section of the UK’s Photography and Visual Arts degree shows, representing the largest graduate showcase in Europe.

Free Range, now in its 19th year, will display the work of over 800 art and photography students from over 50 top academic and creative institutions across the UK, providing a platform to connect with both industry and their peers and preparing them for the next stage of their careers.

Metro is happy to be supporting FREE RANGE Shows as official partners for another consecutive year, taking part of the FREE RANGE Awards 2020. Our Creative Director Steve Macleod, and Marketing and Partnership Manager Kate O’Neill are proud to form part of the industry experts judge Panel selecting this year’s Solo Awards Winners, and then providing the winners with funding and personal mentorship in the lead up towards their solo shows next February.

At the same time, Free Range will be hosting partnering institutions during the shows such as PYLOT Magazine, with a new programme of events and exhibitions; The Photographer’s Gallery, showcasing their DEVELOP programme; and UAL’s Made in Arts London will be taking over the partnership space during Art Week with a programme of talks and workshops.
