Meet the Art World Experts with BSAA


Artists and Emerging Art Dealers: Are you in need of career advice that’s tailored to YOU?

This month Be Smart About Art (BSAA) will host an evening event in London for visual artists to get feedback and insight from art world experts and  Metro is excited to be involved! The event will give participants a chance to meet experts on a one-to-one basis, in addition to participating in roundtable conversations facilitated by industry specialists.

Hazel Reeves, Figurative Sculptor driven to tell the stories of struggles for social justice and to redress the lack of representation of women in public art. Offering insight into making a living as an artist, especially useful for artists initiating cause driven projects and commissions.

Maria Stenfors, Art Consultant & Curator with 20 years experience giving realistic guidance to artists, curators and dealers.

BOOK EARLY! One-to-one bookings are limited in number as each adviser can only do so many one-to-one sessions.   Advisers will be allocated on a first come first served basis.  Once you book your place you will be sent a confirmation email which contains the link to your adviser booking form. Fill this out asap to ensure you have a good shot as your preferred choices of adviser. (Note that the roundtable sessions are decided upon at the time of the event.)


You have three attendance options:

> Have two x 121 sessions (20 min each) and attend 4 x roundtable sessions (20 min each) at £55 for BSAA Members and £65 for non-members;

> Have one x 121 session (20 min) and attend 5 x roundtable sessions (20 min each) at £45 for BSAA Members and £55 for non-members;

> Attend 6 x roundtable sessions (20 min each) at £35 for BSAA Members and £45 for non-members.
