A Commonwealth reception was held at St James’s Palace recently to present The Queen and The Prince of Wales with images taken from the landmark photography exhibition, Time to See.
Metro was delighted to produce large-scale C Type prints for the exhibition which highlights work that The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust and Standard Chartered are developing to prevent avoidable blindness and to draw worldwide attention to it’s impact as well as the solutions readily available to end it.
The exhibition features images from five multi-award winning photojournalists, Ashley Gilbertson, Poulomi Basu, Sam Faulkner, Andrew Quilty and Adam Ferguson who visited seven countries – Australia, Fiji, India, Kenya, Nigeria, Pakistan and Uganda – to document the impact of completely avoidable forms of blindness which affects a staggering 98 million people in the Commonwealth, four out of five of whom suffer unnecessarily.
The full exhibition will be on display at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Valletta, Malta from 26th to 28th November 2015 and the exhibition will tour the Commonwealth throughout 2016
